A triumph of Art Deco: ERA shortlisted for Architecture Award
ERA, a premium-class residential complex under construction on Derbenevskaya Embankment in the prestigious Danilovsky district, has become a finalist for the Architectural Award. The block was successfully shortlisted in the nomination ‘Best architectural and urban planning solution for a high-rise residential project’.
This year, a record number of 178 applications were submitted for the Architectural Award, of which only 48 most worthy projects made it to the final. The winners will be chosen by an expert jury. They will assess how innovative and expressive the project is and how it contributes to the formation of a comfortable urban environment. Announcement of the final results of the award is annually timed to coincide with the celebration of the Architect's Day on 1 July.
"We are proud that our ERA residential complex has become a finalist of such a significant competition as the Architectural Award. This motivates us to further improve our projects and create unique architectural solutions. In the case of ERA, we have combined the traditions of high-rise architecture of the last century with modern high-rise construction technologies. Bright solutions will allow the project to become not only one of the symbols of Danilovsky district, but also a new decoration of the city", - said Commercial Director of Tekta Group.
The architectural concept of the ERA residential complex was created in partnership with GAFA studio. The first phase of construction will consist of three towers with stepped silhouettes with the height of 27, 32 and 33 floors. The houses of the second phase will also be multi-storey - from 38 to 54 floors: the maximum height will reach 210 metres.
Expressive accents on the facades of ERA will be plant ornaments and fancy geometric patterns. The lower tier will be decorated with fluted stone slabs combined with arched elements. Arched windows with French balconies accentuate the appearance of the lower residential floors of the towers. The architectural ensemble is crowned by vertical decorative elements made of metal, which will delicately reflect the rays of the sun.
The project's landscaping is in keeping with the bright and solemn architecture. The ERA courtyard will be filled with the serenity of an English park. There will be a green labyrinth, an apple orchard, spacious flower meadows, arbours covered with wild grapes, as well as safe children's and sports grounds.
The ERA residential complex offers a wide range of flats with unique planning solutions. Among them: residences with French balconies, lots with kitchen-living room of 40 sq.m. and master bedrooms, flats with terraces and ceilings higher than 4 metres.
